The purpose of writing these books is to create universal stories that foster emotional growth and character despite personal differences and beliefs. The books do not contain any religious-affirming language and are considered agnostic, although some stories have spiritual undertones. Little Charity and Little Faith, for example, show prayer in illustrations to convey hope.

Rose Sprinkle knows how to convey a message to children that is both positive and entertaining. The illustrations are very well done and help to draw the attention of readers of all ages. Little Love is inspiring to young readers to help them learn that they have great worth. Especially in today's society, this book is a must read!

We bought this book some time ago and absolutely fell in love with the message and artwork. It reminded me of my self worth and the things that are important. It truly did help me to remember my childhood and how this message could have helped me in my own personal struggles as a kid. It's lovely, worth the money, and a real gem.

As a former English teacher I was mesmerized by the juxtaposition of rhyme and rhythm with sophisticated messages of love and self-acceptance. Young children will be drawn into the story by the soothing rhymes and beautiful illustrations and will later learn the important lessons the story teaches. I cannot wait to read Little Love to my own granddaughter who will most likely respond with "Again!" when we finish the story.
