The purpose of writing these books is to create universal stories that foster emotional growth and character despite personal differences and beliefs. The books do not contain any religious-affirming language and are considered agnostic, although some stories have spiritual undertones. Little Charity and Little Faith, for example, show prayer in illustrations to convey hope.

Loveeeee it!
My older one loves to read and this is one of the best books which teach little kids virtues at a young age. She has even been reading it to her little sister. This is an amazing book for kids which can be read over and over.

We love these stories!
As a parent I’m always striving to teach my kids the importance of emotional resiliency and to have an understanding of different virtues, so I’m so glad to have found these books!
Little Virtues are an award winning children's books series that make learning virtues fun and easy to understand. Written in rhyme verse by Rose Sprinkle and beautifully illustrated by various artists, each tale is heartwarming in its own right. We got the Volume 1 compilation book which includes the following stories:
1. Little Brave (knight) - teaches you to be courageous and have the will to keep trying even if you’re scared and the odds are against you
2. Little Envy (mermaid) - teaches you to accept your imperfections and although you may want what someone else has they aren’t perfect either
3. Little Charity (Christmas elf) - teaches you how much joy you can get by giving to others without expecting anything in return
4. Little Love (pink-haired girl) - teaches the importance of self-love
5. Little Faith (Asian girl) - teaches you to have the faith to continue and persevere, never lose hope

Beautiful illustrations with great messages
The message each story delivers is exactly what every parent wants their children to learn. My 4 year old loves the little brave. Also, the illustrations are great. Highly recommend this book.
